Your InCruises Cruise Dollars are willable. If you are an Incruises Marketing Director or higher, your InCruises business is also willable. Even if you’re not yet an InCruises Marketing Director, if you’re writing your will, plan for it now, so you do not have to re-write your will when you are a Marketing Director.
Why? Because upon your death, multiple people may claim THEY are the rightful heir to your business or Cruise Dollars. NO company wants to get in the middle of a legal fight, so make your wish known in writing in your Last Will and Testament so there is no doubt WHO your business should go to upon your death.
Next, let the person know they are an heir in your estate upon your death and where to locate you Last Will and Testament. If they don’t know, then it’s like it never existed.
Where do you go to write a will, and how much does it cost? There are numerous places online, some are free, others are under $100, and some cost more. Just do your best to make sure it is LEGAL in your state. It may be wise if you use a free source to write your will, that you pay an attorney a small fee to make sure it’s legal in your state.
Another tip, make sure to add an ALTERNATE heir to your business. This is in case the PRIMARY heir to your business and/or cruise dollars dies before you die. Again, let that person know they are in your will, and where to find your will when you die.
Upon your death, your heir will need to submit a copy of your Last Will and Testament AND a copy of your death certificate to the company.
